Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd kept building on her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She defeated all her competitors in the initial round. She then returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen in a unanimous vote. This put a stain on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015, signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her first professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout as a bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to take out McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd was unable to reach her weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She finished her by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. She remained dominant as she picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd finished Evinger in the first round. She also received a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first major match. Ladd took home the unanimous decision after an intense back and forth battle with the fighters, received an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her win streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC on ESPN 7. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was lost by unanimous verdict.
